WHAT TO BRING:

Snacks, drinks ( water provided), and personal fishing gear). Rods and reels available if needed. Recommended rods: 6-8 weights depending on species and skill level. Floating lines are a must, sink tips are sometimes used but not often.

In the spring and fall when there is plenty of water in the river we generally fish from the boat anchored in one spot. During the summer months when the water flow is a lot less we use the boat to get from spot to spot but fishing is primarily done by leaving the boat and wade fishing. This allows us to make a more stealthy approach to the fish without spooking them. Wading sandals or wading boots are a must.
